What’s the connection between and our minds and physical movement?

How did my trainer help me and his other clients focus on movement and our mental well-being during quarantine? We’ll explore these things and more while Getting Real Immersed in Truth.

2020 has been a year of stressful and even traumatic events. Natural disasters, Covid19, more people becoming aware of racism and racial injustice, the loss of normalcy, death of beloved Icons in history, athletics and the arts, political divisiveness, our polarized country, and sadly Polarization as Christians.

Many of us are on autopilot. Just trudging through trying to get through the week, the day, and for some, the hour.

Many of us are anxiously waiting for 2020 to be over, in hopes that things will improve.

Jeremiah 30:17 says "But I will restore you to health and heal your wounds,’ declares the LORD"

Today I’m talking to Jeremy Miller - Owner/operator of Redzone Fitness and Training Center. He has a Masters’ degree in Business and a Bachelors’s degree in Exercise and Nutrition.

Jeremy has been a fitness trainer for nine years. One thing I like to say is if you have health problems or a chronic illness please see your physician before starting any workout.

Remember, if you have health problems or a chronic illness please see your physician before starting any workout. As Jeremy stated -Proceeds from the September fitness challenge will go to the Foundation for Lincoln Public Schools. I’d like to give a shoutout to my O dark thirty Jesus Crew.

Our name comes from the fact that it’s O dark thirty when we get to the gym and we love Jesus. You can find Jeremy’s information and the link for Redzone fitness website and Facebook page in the show notes. Also a link to an article about physical movement during these difficult times.

Remember you must take care of yourself before you can take care of anyone else; Until next time Keep your Grit up by Getting Real While Immersed in Truth.

The evil of racism has pervaded our world for far too long, and God is calling his children to act. As children of light, empowered by God’s life-giving Spirit, we are called to speak against oppression and abuse and to come alongside those who are hurting. Many of us can feel the weight of grief experienced by our friends of color, but we don’t always know how to help or what to do. In this episode, Wholly Loved Ministries team members Jennifer Slattery and Robrenna Redl discuss ways we can unite together to bring healing and affect true and lasting change.
