Getting Real About Diverse Missionaries

GRIT Podcast S2Ep9 Covers Diverse Missions.png

Today's topic of conversation is about diverse missionaries; sending people of color to Africa. Join me and Guest Ronda Tyson of 10:40 AM (Africa Missions) as we ponder why diversity is causing so much division. We discuss how the Church in the book of Acts shows us how we should embrace the diversity of ethnicity, people groups, gifts, and abilities in church and on the mission field. In the end, diversity is God’s idea, and joining forces is beneficial in spreading the gospel message.

The evil of racism has pervaded our world for far too long, and God is calling his children to act. As children of light, empowered by God’s life-giving Spirit, we are called to speak against oppression and abuse and to come alongside those who are hurting. Many of us can feel the weight of grief experienced by our friends of color, but we don’t always know how to help or what to do. In this episode, Wholly Loved Ministries team members Jennifer Slattery and Robrenna Redl discuss ways we can unite together to bring healing and affect true and lasting change.
